A shout out to all you budding cocktail makers. Here’s 3 of our personal favorite cocktails for you to have a go at in the comfort of your own home. A blend of 5 different rums including a white, a spiced, a gold, a dark and an overproof. Plus Orange Rooms’ special “tiki love potion” (watermelon, passionfruit, coconut, orgeat, vanilla syrups) pineapple juice, fresh pink grapefruit and angostura bitters.
Zombie Methodology – 10ml Bacardi Carta Blanca, 10ml Bacardi Carta Oro, 10ml Wray and nephew, 10ml Blackwells, 10ml Sailor Jerry, 50ml Pineapple juice, 25ml Tiki syrup (equal parts of all flavoured syrups), 10ml fresh grapefruit juice and 2 dashes angostura bitters. the drink is built in the glass, ass crushed ice and churn, top with ice and garnish with absinthe flame. A super punchy drink which is full of tropical goodness! the drink is built and churned through crushed ice and served with a blowtorch of absinthe.
Our take on the classic that’s taken the country by storm! Absolut Vanilla Vodka and Passoa Passionfruit Liqueur are shaken hard together with Passionfruit Juice, Passionfruit Puree and Vanilla Syrup with a tiny dash of lime cordial. All served with a playing card and a shot of Prosecco. The prosecco is designed to be sipped throughout the cocktail acting as a palette cleanser. With this type of porn no Kleenex is required!!
Pornstar Martini Methodology – 25ml Absolut Vanilla, 25ml Passoa, 25ml Passionfruit Puree, 5ml Lime Juice, 12.5ml Vanilla Syrup. Shaken hard and fine strained into a coupe glass, garnished with a shot of Prosecco and a playing card.
Essentially a “Rum Old Fashioned” with a mighty fine twist. Santa Theresa Orange Rum is stirred down with brown sugar and orange peel, served over a large ice cube, this will put orange hairs on any man’s chest
Antiquado Methodology – 50ml Santa Theresa Orange Rum, 2 dash Angostura Biters, 1 bar spoon brown sugar. dissolve the sugar, add the rum and stir down until diluted. For the full effect serve with the flamed zest or orange peel!
